Life will always throw roadblocks your way. It’s how you navigate them that matters. You may not be able to control your circumstances, but you can control how you show up.
Here’s the reality:
To get where you want to go, you need to stop self-sabotaging, holding yourself back and weighing yourself down.
More gratitude journaling, taking another course or talking to your friends won’t help because they are surface level solutions to a deeper problem.
To change your outer reality, you need to start by changing your inner reality. This requires getting vulnerable, being committed to making happiness your #1 priority, and getting to the heart of the matter.
When you change your relationship with yourself, everything in your life changes.
When you put yourself first, you become a better, more loving partner and have more to give to the people that matter most in your life by giving more to yourself first.
When you get out of the negative narratives you’ve been telling yourself, you not only lift yourself up, but also lift everyone else up around you.
Instead of waking up anxious everyday that “you’re already behind”, you have a sense of peace and calm about your life, no matter how full your day or to-do list is.
Instead of focusing on what you don’t have and all the ways you lack, your heart pours gratitude for where you are now and can bring yourself back to the present moment, so that you fall in love with the JOURNEY, instead of waiting for the destination.
When you prioritize your big picture goals, you can look at yourself in the mirror with pride, love, and respect. You live each week like it’s your last, so that in the end, you have no regrets.
Accepting yourself is the hardest thing in the world to do because it goes against all of your conditioning.

Like a newborn baby comes into this world a blank slate, you did too. You have been passed down and inherited a system of beliefs, without your consent, from the patriarchy rooted in scarcity, domination, and oppression. It is called Scarcity Mindset.
You were programmed to believe you don’t have enough and YOU are not enough. It means that the self-sabotaging beliefs that tear you down are not “yours” - they are not innate to your being nor are they something you were born with.
The good news is that you have more choice than you think you have. You can’t control the thoughts that come into your mind, but you can control whether or not you believe them.
The reality? At your core, you are perfect simply because you are YOU. You ARE worthy. You ARE enough. You do not need to DO anything to be worthy, it is your birthright.
If you’ve taken the courses, done the therapy, talked to the friends and journalled your heart out but STILL haven’t gotten the results you’re craving… Listen up.
You’ve been downloading apps, when you really need to upgrade your operating system.
If you take another course to learn new hard skills (which is valuable), you won’t unlock why you feel good for a week, but then fall right back into feeling lost and directionless. You need to figure out how to change that.
If you journal more, you will feel temporary relief, but you’ll inevitably hit the same inner brick walls and repeat the same old patterns because you can only take yourself so far. We all have blind spots and you can’t see or transform yours by yourself.
Sure, your friends and coworkers are great, but you can’t have the kinds of conversations with them that you need to become your best self.
You need a safe space and a skilled guide to take you deeper, feel the uncomfortable feelings you’re avoiding, and change the relationship you have with yourself so that you can stop working against yourself and start being your own rocket fuel.

One of Becca Cross’s major concerns was if she’d had to sacrifice other things in her life, but she found it all worked out.
“It’s all worked out. It was definitely worth it. The learning. The journey. The support. The extra resources. It's an amazing package. I really do feel better for myself taking that on and opening up new horizons and new doors, like new ways to make myself feel better.
Through SHINE, I realized I didn't have the self-acceptance I thought I did because I didn't know the pieces of me and the saboteurs and stuff. I'm still working on that. It's not easy to accept those internal things that flare up without you really having control of them, so I'm working on that.
Learning about myself or how decisions are formed or what values we have, all those things that we've been through through SHINE that's opened up so many new horizons for me. And I didn't know that I was longing for that.
I'm very proud of myself because it's been an emotional journey. I feel bigger and bolder. I can see things in others that I couldn't see before. I'm able to regroup and ask a few questions so they feel like they can open up. Different conversations are happening. I have different ways of managing things like even in the household because of that there's less friction. It's definitely smoother.
I feel like I'm not like I'm not forcing things anymore. Like things are kind of coming up FOR me that I want or need. I'll put a few things out there, a few feelers out there, but I won't be angry if things don't work out my way. I haven't felt that in a long time, actually. There are people in the world that would really, really benefit from this program.”

“I definitely have the luxury of having a fairly flexible calendar. I made sure I put all of the upcoming calls in my calendar already so no one can book a meeting with me during that time. So, really carving it out ahead of time and chatting with my supervisor that they are aware that this is a priority for me and it’s a part of my journey. If it’s not in my calendar, I forget it, so making sure I schedule it is a big piece.
And when I put things in my calendar, getting away from the mindset that “these are things I HAVE to do” vs. “these are the things I’m EXCITED for” and “these are things I WANT to do”. They’re benefitting me, they’re a time of FUN, and carving that out. I see it as an exciting piece that is in my calendar and I'm really making it a priority.”
And hear how Carly Waring, who is a VP in her company and manages a team, made it work with her work:
“I think there's kind of two parts to this. First, from 2:30 to 4:00pm on Tuesdays, can I arrange my work schedule, set a boundary with my colleagues to always be available? Every week for 12 weeks at that time? And second, how I thought about that time.
I really struggled with thinking I'm being rude to other people or it's not fair. What if people need something from me? If I had a meeting that went into that time, I'm gonna have to reschedule this meeting with someone else.
But, I’ve learned, and we talked about it so much in SHINE, that it's not selfish to put yourself first and speak up for your needs and prioritize the things that are going to make you better, because when you become better, that also benefits other people.
While I was in the decision-making process, Emily looked me straight in the eyes and asked me, “Are you going to choose to make the time commitment or no? It’s a decision you get to make.”
It was more than just 90 minutes a week. I think it was making sure that I set time aside to do the pre-work and the integration practices and kind of having a little bit of time before and after the call to do some independent work, but even if we call that three or four hours a week, I can think about all those other things that I was doing anyways. It did not make me feel more busy. I tried to avoid busyness in my own life but it added so much value in making that commitment. It made me feel like there was more space in my life, not less.”

The feeling of being unsure where you want to be in 6 months or what your next steps are is totally natural. Two things:
1) It’s the FIRST topic you’ll get coaching on through the Vision & Goal-Setting Module, and
2) If you look underneath the belief that you need to have it all figured out first, you’ll likely find it’s actually a fear that you will be embarrassed if it doesn’t work out or a fear of failure that you’re bumping up against. That is fear speaking and those are limiting beliefs.
Overcoming fear and busting your limiting beliefs is a superpower of mine, and a focus in SHINE. It’s a bit chicken and egg, but if you trust me and trust the quality of the program, your path will unfold with each step you take (which is the only way to make progress on your big picture goals).
You need to ask yourself: will I let this fear hold me back or will I feel the fear and do it anyway?

Each session is recorded. If you can’t make the live coaching calls you will be able to watch the recording. I recommend missing no more than 3 live calls to get the full impact of the program.

Live group coaching calls happen on Tuesdays from 11am-12:30pm PST. Each live group coaching call is 90 minutes, each on demand module is ~30 minutes, and you will do the integration practices throughout the course of your day-to-day. You might want to carve out an extra 30 minutes each week to journal.
Altogether, it’s about 2-3 hours per week for the first 3 months. It’s 90 minutes every other week for the last 3 months.

That is a hurt part of you speaking and it’s not true. In truth, your Higher Self KNOWS you are enough, KNOWS you are so capable, and KNOWS when you put what you want first, you SOAR.
Instead, ask yourself:
What if you loved yourself so much that you were willing to give yourself this gift of investing in your highest growth?
What if you became a better you every week for the next 6 months?
What if you built habits that allowed you to keep becoming a better you everyday for the rest of your life?
Who could you be at the end of it?
